When placed at the bedside or a doorway, the mat detects pressure immediately upon contact, alerting caregivers that the user has left their safe zone. This allows for rapid response times, significantly reducing the risk of falls.

The light colour of the mat is specifically chosen to be non-threatening for users living with dementia. Unlike darker mats which can be perceived as obstacles or "holes" in the floor—causing users to avoid or step over them—this design encourages natural movement, ensuring the mat remains effective without causing distress.
Versatile Connectivity & Control
Designed for flexibility, the system can be used in two ways:
Independent Operation: Use as a standalone local alert system.
Integrated System: Connect to your existing nurse call system via the Wall Point Receiver (sold separately) for centralised monitoring.
Silent Mode: When connected to a nurse call system, the local alarm volume can be deactivated, allowing for silent in-room operation that prevents unnecessary noise disturbances while still notifying staff.
